Remember 6-7 years ago when the humungous handbag trend was everywhere?

Everyone wanted to carry a bag that they could fit their whole life in to, or just the basic daily essentials for survival- laptop, cellphone, keys, wallet, couple cosmetic bags, water bottle -and why not, because you have the room-maybe a sweatshirt, and a camera.

Then the unthinkable happened, people everywhere toting along their 15 pound handbags started complaining of back pain and/or became a target to purse snatchers.

Both of which I have experienced. Sadly, sometimes the most obvious, really isn’t the most obvious at all.

Now that we are all over the big handbag trend, for the time being, everyone is flocking towards the petite ‘Chain on Wallet’ trend.

It’s one of my favorite bag trends the last couple years, and honestly don’t see it going away anytime soon.

There are some important factors to look at when finding the perfect ‘Chain on Wallet’ and they are: Size. 

Is it big enough for the essentials? Don’t forget about your cellphone and keys, where are those going to go?

Keep it Organized. 

Difference between a mini bag and a wallet on chain? compartments! Also how many card slots do you need?
Chain length is another biggie. Do you want to be able to wear it cross-body, over one shoulder or wrapped around the wrist like a clutch? Versatility will allow you to get the most out of your ‘Chain on Wallet’

Classic or Trendy.

This is true for any handbag shopping. If you plan on wearing it as an everyday bag, go for something neutral like grey, creamy beige, black, et cetera. Or depending on the season pop of bright and bold for spring / summer or neutrals and autumn shades for fall / winter.
